Attendance and QR code

    Using the Attendance QR Code Feature on my.ism.lt (Teacher Guide)

    Step 1: Log In


    Step 2: Access Your Timetable

    • After logging in, locate and open your Timetable.

    • Select the current lecture from the schedule.




    Step 3: Open Lecture Information

    • The lecture's detail view will open.

    • Navigate to the "Attendance Journal" tab to manage attendance.


    QR Code Activation

    • The "Show QR Code" button becomes active 1 hour before the lecture.

    • Click it to open a QR code in a new browser tab.

    • The QR code updates every 20 seconds.


    Student Interaction

    • All students should initially have the status “Unknown.”

    • Students must:

      1. Sign in using your Student Microsoft account

      2. Press QR code button on top menu on the left

      3. Scan the QR code using their phones.

    🔄 To see real-time updates during scanning, press F5 to refresh the browser window.



    Managing Student Statuses

    You can manually change student statuses:

    1. Select a student from the list.

    2. At the bottom of the list, choose the appropriate status:

      • Unknown – Default before the lecture starts.

      • Attendant – Student is physically present.

      • Justified – Student is absent with a valid reason.

      • Unjustified – Student is absent without a valid reason.

        • ⚠️ After the lecture, all students still marked as Unknown will be automatically changed to Unjustified.

    3. Optionally, add a comment, then click Save.
