I'm connected to eduroam, but i see the message "No internet"

Users who are using Google DNS IP addresses (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4), which allow access to filmai.in, linkomanija.net, and other unlicensed and pirated media sharing platforms, must set their network adapter to automatically detect DNS IP addresses. Otherwise, they won’t be able to use the internet at ISM campus.

If you don't know how to check your DNS IP address, check the information bellow:

Windows

Press Windows key +R at the same time. In opened window type ncpa.cpl and hit Enter



Right click on your network adapter and choose Properties



Select Internet Protocol Version 4 and press Properties



Make sure you have the same configuration as in the picture bellow:



Click OK. Test your internet connection now.


MacOS

First go to the Apple menu at the bottom of your screen and open System Preferences. You can also find this by typing it into the Spotlight and hitting Enter.




Click Network and then select which type of network you’re using from the list on the left side (for example “Wi-Fi” or “Ethernet”). Now click the Advanced button in the lower right corner of the Network window.



Choose the DNS tab at the top of the screen.

Delete all IP Addresses from DNS Servers: list




Click OK. Test your internet connection now.
